Late Fees

听

Students also may set up a payment plan for their educational expenses. No paper bills are sent, but electronic statements are sent to your 91黑料专区 email address with a balance prior to the payment deadline and near the end of each month in the term. Copies of eBills (in PDF format) are available for students and authorized users in .

    Information About Late Fees

    • A $50 late fee is charged once per term to students with a balance who are not enrolled in a payment plan.
    • Students enrolled in a may be charged a $25 late installment fee for each installment that is late or not paid in full.
    • If you expect to receive financial aid, we encourage you to check to see if it applied to your account before the payment deadline.  If you have questions about your aid, contact the Financial Aid Office at 785.670.3360 or tech-fa-info@washburn.edu.
    • If financial aid is delayed because your are a first-semester student or first-time borrower and the aid will cover your balance when it is applied 30 days into the term, you do not need to set up a payment plan as long as your account shows your aid is memoed and waiting to disburse.
    • If financial aid is split into two disbursements because you are considered a single-term student for financial aid purposes and it will cover your balance in full when it is released at the mid-point of the term, you do not need to set up a payment plan as long as your account shows your aid is memoed and waiting to disburse. All Fall graduates and all Summer students are considered single-term students for financial aid purposes.
    • If financial aid is delayed because your FAFSA was not submitted on time, or because other financial aid or admissions requirements were not completed on time, you will be obligated to meet the payment deadline or enroll in a payment plan.
    • If financial aid is delayed for reasons beyond your control, the late charge can be waived if you pay any balance not covered by the financial aid by the payment deadline. Please let us know if a late fee is applied while your aid is delayed.

If Your Bill Isn't Paid On Time

If you believe you should not be charged a late fee, you can submit a Late Fee Waiver request. To qualify for a late fee waiver, you must demonstrate that the failure to settle the account balance in a timely manner was due to an error on the part of 91黑料专区 Tech.
